Two friends flee their region in search of a better future. As they walk, one of them records with his camera his childhood memories that are now left in ruins. DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:

This short film arises from the need to explore "El Campo de Belchite" and create a portrait of the region with the concept of the passage of time as its central theme.

As I ventured into the region, I was struck by the abundance of wind turbines, which, along with the constant wind, became antagonistic figures projecting a bleak future over the territory.

My intention was also to capture the voices of the local residents as they left their homes, adding a layer of realism to the film. This turns the short film into a cinematic journey through a region marked by time, like a graveyard of forgotten structures, with the wind eroding the few remaining walls and large machines in the distance, progressively claiming more space.

Throughout the process, we experimented with various cinematographic techniques, blending digital and photochemical formats to achieve unique textures and narratives. The result is a heterogeneous work that combines elements of fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema, capturing my personal experience upon arriving in this place.
